In addition to our beautiful scenery, the Ebro Delta Natural Park and Els Ports Natural Park, one of our most important tourist attractions is our gastronomy. Therefore, with the objective of promoting and marketing our culinary products of excellence we have joined the Cuisine Collectives of Catalonia with the collaboration of 14 restaurateurs from Sant Carles de la Ràpita and 14 agri-food producers from the Terres de l’Ebre.
The establishment of the La Ràpita-Ebro Delta Cuisine Collective is an opportunity to let the world know about the healthy gastronomy of Sant Carles de la Ràpita, a relationship between ourvisitors, their food and their natural environment. Our idea of healthy is consuming products of the highest quality produced locally with total passion and aspiration to demonstrate once again our authenticity and singularity as a region. We wish to give you confidence in the nutritional quality of the menus we offer you. You can try many different dishes that have several things in common: fresh fish of the season, rice, olive oil, salt... and not forgetting the excellent wines of the DO Terra Alta. This is a great opportunity to enjoy them with your family and friends. We invite you to get to know and love our gastronomy and our food products; our farmers and restaurateurs have made a firm commitment to care for, defend and spread our gastronomic culture.
