The day begins in Gandesa, in the Terra Alta Wine and Olive Oil Interpretation Centre and the its wine cellar. On completing the tour, visitors are taken to the Gandesa Wine Cooperative, a monumental building designed by the Modernist architect, Cèsar Martinell, a follower of Gaudí.
To round off the oenological tour, we go to a nearby vineyard to see the different ways in which the grapes are grown. The next stop on the tour is the Vall de Vinyes winery.
You will also be offered a breakfast that includes a tasting of clotxa, a traditional Terra Alta meal eaten by our ancestors during the grape harvest.
As a complement you will have the opportunity to taste the fish and seafood of Sant Carles de la Ràpita accompanied by the exquisite wines of the Terra Alta cooperatives in a well-known restaurant in the town, a meal you will not forget in a long time!
