The Terres de l’Ebre (Ebro Lands) is the southern most region of Catalonia. It takes its name from the River Ebro that the brings water and nutrients to its land.Along the course of the river you will find great wealth of nature, two natural parks, beaches to suit all tastes, rugged mountains and villages full of charm.
In land there are large areas dedicated to citrus fruits, vineyards and millenary olive trees that have been here in the Terres de l’Ebre since time immemorial and produce a wide variety of wines of recognised prestige and extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality.
Far from the crowds and conventional tourist routes, you can visita territory that has captivated many civilisations over the centuries. Iberians, Romans, Arabs, Jews and Christians... they have all left an important cultural legacy that can be seen in the popular traditions, monuments and language, as well as in the character of the people.
All this natural and cultural heritage enriches any visit to the Terres de l’Ebre and allows tourists to discover the details hidden by the mosaic laid out by the four southern most counties of Catalonia.
